5 best signings in the Premier League this season

However, some have been more successful more than the others with their impressive displays all through their reigns in the league.

However, here are five players who have made a massive impact for their various clubs since moving in the summer and have truly shown value for money.

Interestingly, players outside of the League's top four have dominated the list compiled by Skysports football journalists.

5. Salomon Rondon
Venezuela star Salomon Rondon has been of huge benefit to Rafa Benitez's Newcastle United this season.
The 29-year-old has scored ten goals and registered five assists so far and the Toon Army will be eager to have his loan from West Bromwich Albion made permanent.
He is skilled at advancing Newcastle's attack and creating chances at goal with five assists as a striker is no easy feat.
4. James Maddison
The English attacking midfielder has created 81 scoring chances for the Foxes.
That makes the former Norwich City player with the highest ration in Europe's top five leagues at 81 tied with Lyon's Memphis Depay and Atalanta's Alejandro Gomez.
3. Felipe Anderson
The Brazillian makes the Premier League's top signings for chances created, final third passes, dribbles, through-balls, and tackles.
The 25-year-old is even viewed by Real Madrid as a potential plan B target if their Eden Hazard quest fails to materialize.
His running off the ball without being detected makes the Hammers attacking midfielder a constant threat and headache for defenders.
2. Raul Jimenez
With 15 goals in the bag for Wolves, Jimenez is certainly an unearthed gem for Nuno.
A season-long loan from Molineux did not get off to the best of starts with the Portuguese only registering three goals in his first 13 Premier League games.
However, Jimenez finally perfected his attacking approach and adapted to the traditional English number nine role well.
1. Alisson
Behind every successful team lies an impressive goalkeeper. Alisson Becker has brought that much-needed formula for success into Jurgen Klopp's cauldron and has been brilliant for the Reds.
The ex-Roma shot-stopper is a complete player and has helped Liverpool to a number of clean sheets establishing his presence at the back.
