I Can’t Wait To Go Bar For Bar With J.Cole – Meek Mill

 

October 2018, Rapper Meek Mill shared a photo on Instagram of himself and J.Cole in a music studio together. Of course, this caused the beginning of rumors that a collaboration was in the works.

Before the shared picture, the only time the duo have collaborated was on a song titled “Black Grammys,” which was released 6 years ago and also featured Wale and Rockie Fresh.

Several rap heads thought the track featuring both were set to be dropped alongside Meek Mill’s then-album “Championships” but it never did.

But recently, during an #AskMeek question and answer, Nicki Minaj’s former boyfriend was asked “What’s up with the Cole feature that pic on the gram had me hella excited !” and his response was, “I’m waiting for cole.”

Someone else directed this question at him, “when you & @JColeNC gone body bag an instrumental???”

Meek gave further details with his reply this time, “Very soon I can’t wait to go bar for bar wit cole he be on some shit!”
