Shane Long Scores Fastest Ever Goal In Premier League History (Photos)
Southampton striker Shane Long scored the fastest goal in Premier League history on Tuesday night after just seven seconds, MySportDab reports.
Watford kicked off but Long closed down a clearance from Craig Cathcart and proceeded to lob the ball over goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The previous record was held by former Tottenham defender Ledley King, who scored after ten seconds against Bradford in 2000.
After scoring in back-to-back games against Liverpool and Wolves, Long was given just his 10th start of the season against Wolves.
And he made it three goals from four games as he quickly repaid the faith Hasenhuttl had shown in him.
