Asisat Oshoala seals a permanent deal with Barcelona till 2022, La Liga

Super Falcon star, Asisat Oshoala, has penned a three-year contract with Barcelona Women’s team. The deal will see the talented footballer staying with the La Liga side till 2022, after already spending four months with them on loan from Chinese side, Dalian Quanjian F.C. What has actually got many Nigerians happy about the deal is the manner in which La Liga announced it. Taking to their official English Twitter handle, La Liga announced the deal in Pidgin English. Oshola who just signed a 3 year contract with Spanish giant will be with the club till year 2022, they tweeted.

Before moving to Barcelona, Oshola won the Chinese Women’s Super League title with Dalian Quanjian in 2017. She was also part of the Arsenal Ladies side that won the the English FA Cup crown in the 2015/2016 season. On the international scene, she has won three Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Cup with the Super Falcons of Nigeria. The former Rivers Angels star is expected to feature for Nigeria at the next month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
