Chelsea manager speaks about the controversial penalty

Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has spoken about the controversial penalty that was awarded to his left-wing back, Marcos Alonso in their 2-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday.
Fabian Schar was penalized for a lunge on Alonso midway through the second half.
Replays showed that the Swiss center-back got the ball but the referee’s mind was made up as he pointed to award the penalty.
The spot kick was converted by forward, Eden Hazard and Sarri have stated that he doesn’t know if the incident was truly a penalty.
“I don’t know, I was far from the incident and I am not the referee, and I don’t want to be a referee either,” Sarri told Sky Sports.
It was three wins out of three for Chelsea under their new manager.
Meanwhile, Sarri was impressed with Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard, who started for the first time this season following an extended break after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Sarri added, “Eden (Hazard) has played very well but maybe it was better if he played for only 75/80 minutes, but (Mateo) Kovacic asked me to be replaced so it was not possible”.
